KARAMOKO DEMBELE has left Celtic after his contract expired with the Scottish champions.
The young talent has been with the club from a young age. Shining at the youth level, Karamoko was tipped to be one of the biggest prospects in football. However, things didn’t pan out in any way anyone wanted.
The winger is on the search for a new club. After Italian interest emerged last week, the player could be jetting off to France. Ligue 1 side, Brest, is interested in signing the 19-year-old. [Foot Mercato]
It’s fair to say, from touts of big clubs, in England and abroad, being after the player a few years back, it’s quite a downfall for Karamoko.
There is undoubtedly some talent there, but he’s yet to show this on the big stage. Now, instead of heading to a big club from Celtic, he’ll need to find a stepping stone.
A club source didn’t paint a good picture for CeltsAreHere, with his attitude seemingly an issue. Maybe if he had applied himself in a better manner, he’d be a consistent starter for Celtic, with a big-money move to come in a few years.
