Karamoko Dembele’s contract is up at the end of the season and sources have told Celtsarehere, unless something fundamentally changes in the next six or so weeks, the player will be leaving the club.

Karamoko has got a little big of game time since coming back from injury. It could have been his breakout season but instead a shocker of a tackle in a pre-season friendly put an end to any hope of a first team run.

The winger has been around Celtic for so long and has always had the word potential attached to his name, but at this moment that’s all it is.

Ange Postecoglou has perhaps seen the writing on the wall with the winger. It looks as if there will be no space in the Celtic first team for Karamoko Dembele on Sunday at Ibrox.

Celtic have a full squad to choose from, minus James Forrest which means it’s tougher to get into that squad.

We have been given a big hint today as Dembele turned out for the B team in the Lowland League.

It would be highly unlikely the youngster would be called on less than 24 hours later to be part of a Celtic squad heading to Ibrox.

Karamoko was part of a young Celtic side who were absolutely thrashed by The Rangers at Ibrox just a few weeks ago.

As we say, contract talks between both parties are non-existent and right now, the winger is destined to leave the club this summer.
