The Rangers defender has broking from the usual Ibrox script and admitted what every Celtic fan already knows, that the everlasting Celtic party “torments” their rivals. At last, some honesty from over that side of the city.

All Celtic fans have to do is to think back to the old Rangers (tainted) 9-in-a-row to remember how it felt and what it is like now that the shoe is on the other foot, long may it continue.

If the last few seasons have had have been a boxing match, the Ibrox club has landed a few jabs on the champions. They either celebrated those jabs to loudly or too soon only to be served up haymaker after haymaker by the Celtic winning machine.

Nikola Katic is honest enough to admit what a “ruthless” Celtic does to the Ibrox dressing room while speaking with Record Sport.

“The end of last year was really top-notch for us. We were two points behind Celtic with a game in hand. We won at Celtic Park and everything was great.

“But after that we got ourselves into a crisis and we have been tormented by it. Celtic, on the other hand, were really ruthless since the winter break. They played superbly and so they got away from us.

Nobody knows how this season is going to end. The champions were all set for yet another historic season until a worldwide deadly pandemic stopped the world in its tracks. With human life at risk, all sports has to take a back seat from entertainment and try to focus on how clubs can aid health services instead.
