Kenny Miller has claimed that there should have been a penalty in yesterday’s game at Ibrox.

The Former Rangers player has said that there was a clear pull of Connor Goldson’s shirt and the home side should have been awarded a game-changing penalty.

Speaking on Sportscene, Miller said: “This for me if VAR’s in is a stonewall penalty or if Willie Collum sees that. He’s got a whole chunk of the jersey. Connor Goldson’s trying to adjust to the flight of the ball and his movement is impeded by a whole handful of Goldson’s shirt that Carter-Vickers has got.”

At first, The clash between both Camron Carter-Vickers and Connor Goldson was they were both tugging and pulling at each other’s shirts but after a few seconds, Carter-Vickers seemed to be holding on a little bit tighter but overall it wasn’t a foul by either player.

Kenny Miller is clearly clutching at straws when in reality, Celtic deserved their victory on the day.

The Glasgow derby was a nail-biting experience. Gio’s men took the lead just two minutes into the game but it only took Celtic four minutes to reply.

Before half-time Cameron Carter-Vicker smashed one past the defence making it 2-1 – it would turn out to be the winning goal.

In the second half, the bhoys in green put in a top defensive display but also had the best chances to score. Had Liel Abada finished one of his chances, the game would have been more comfortable in the end.
