KENNY MILLER has proven himself to be a petty man as he retires from football this week.

The striker announced his retirement and posted on Instagram about his great career. In the post, the former player includes pictures of him playing for different clubs but he leaves out any images of himself in those famous green and white hoops.

Kenny played for old and new Rangers during his career but wedged in between all of this was a season in the sun with Celtic – winning the league and playing in the Champions League, even getting on the scoresheet.

Most Celtic fans like to also forget Kenny ever played for the club but as someone who was in the stands the day he scored for Celtic against Rangers, his crazy celebration on the day will always be amusing to me.

Miller is probably readying himself for a full time gig in the media and wants the usual suspects to forget he ever dawned the Hoops.

We’d like to take the high road and wish him all the best in retirement.

  1. A nonentity. A skid mark on the pages of football history. Yet another hundit to join the ranks alongside Charlie Adam. The blue propaganda machine is in fool flow.

  2. Ok queen kenny, so how many important CL goals did you score outwith your non badge kissing career at Celtic Fc??? Exactly ‘none is the answer’ . You came for the prestige, the badges on a ribbon, the money, not the first time you played in Green and White though.

  3. He’s been touting himself around Scottish football like an old worn-out whore this season. He’s now preparing to lick the succulent lamb of being a retired hun. I always thought of him as a wee ned from Hamilton, with his wifey shouting the odds when trouble erupted. He’s nothing more than that, an old has been, with a gobby wifey.
