MIKE ASHLEY’S newly acquired House of Fraser’s has booked Kieran Tierney to turn on the Christmas Lights at the Glasgow store in aid of St Margaret’s Hospice.

The Celtic left back who always does his bit for charity will be the man to light up Glasgow alongside Celtic fan and former Rab C Nesbit actor Tony Roper.

Speaking about turning on the lights, Kieran was delighted to do his bit.

“I am really looking forward to switching on the iconic Frasers Christmas lights and helping to raise funds for St Margaret’s Hospice.” Tierney told Sunsport.

“It’s important to give back at this time of year and this amazing charity helps a lot of people through difficult times.”

The lights will be turned on this Thursday with KT doing the honours followed by giving out raffle prizes to lucky winners.

Mike Ashley bought the troubled company after they were about to go into receivership this year.

The man who battles the Ibrox board in court on a bi-monthly basis is hoping to make House of Fraser’s one of the top shops in the country again.

It’s great to see Kieran take part in such a big event that will help the Hospice who do fantastic work.
