KIERAN TIERNEY is clearly proud of his and his teammates efforts tonight in Norway – so much so he has posted his delight on social media.

Tierney played an integral part in shutting out Rosenborg on the night and send Celtic to the brink of European football past Christmas.

Celtic now have nine points and are three ahead of Leipzig who will now have to win against Rosenborg and hope Salzburg beat Celtic.

It’s in the bhoys hands but there is still work to be done.

Before that, there is a small matter of a League Cup Final on Sunday against Aberdeen.

Celtic are almost back to full strength; Brown returning as a sub this evening, Griffiths back in the fold and Ntcham having to settle for a place on the bench with so many in-form players on the field already.

It’s a great night for the bhoys and hopefully it gets the monkey off their back and they can start to win more away games in European football.
