KIERAN TIERNEY will play in a familiar stadium come July with the news reported by RecordSport Arsenal will take on The Rangers in a pre-season friendly.

The left-back enjoyed major success playing in the stadium, part of squads who ripped the home side apart on a regular basis.

Kieran was actually part of the side that ended up getting Celtic fans allocation slashed.

Heading back to Glasgow will be great for the defender who will hopefully be able to visit Celtic Park while he’s in town. Hopefully, he brings a megaphone!

Tierney is still Scottish football’s most expensive export at £25m.

He’s gone down south and became one of Arsenal’s best players. There’s no doubt he can go onto greater things in the near future.

The defender is currently out injured but is hoping to be fit for Scotland’s Euro campaign in June.

The Hoops still have two visits to Ibrox this season. The Scottish Cup fifth round tie this weekend followed by a league encounter in early May.
