All Celtic fans were focused on the winning of a treble by Ange Postecoglou and his players this weekend and rightly so.

One supporter who would’ve been watching from afar is Kieran Tierney.

The left back played for Celtic for a number of years, coming through the club’s academy and turning out for the first team before departing for Arsenal in 2019.

Although things went well for the Scot in his early days in London, he hasn’t endured much prosperity over the last season.

He has lost his place in Mikel Arteta’s side to Oleksandr Zinchenko and now, appears to be heading for the exit door.

According to The Times, Newcastle United are confident of securing his services amid interest from Aston Villa.

In terms of a fee, Arsenal want more than £30 million for the 25 year.

For Celtic, this would be hugely positive because when they sold Tierney, they inserted a sell on fee of around 15% according to The Scotsman.

This would then mean that the Hoops would receive over £5 million if Tierney is sold for the aforementioned fee.

Such income would be vastly welcomed at Parkhead ahead of the summer as it would only add to the war chest for summer transfers.

  1. That’s not right Josh Celtic get 15% of any profit Arsenal make so it would be £750,000 only that we would receive from any transfer.
