Former Celtic hero Kieran Tierney made sure to give his fellow Celtic supporter James McLean his jersey after Scotland and Ireland faced off in the UEFA Nations League at the weekend.

The pair went head to head for their countries but afterwards they got together to swap jerseys. James is a massive Celtic fan and so are his kids. The Irish winger showed off the jersey by letting his son wear it when he returned home.

Kieran had to go off during the tie after receiving a knock to the head which ruled him out of the Ukraine tie. Steve Clarke’s men managed to just about get over the line in Poland to get promoted in the UEFA Nations League.

The former Celtic star has done well down south but injuries have really hampered his time at Arsenal. The Celtic academy graduate has all the tools, he just needs to stay fit to realise his full potential.

His replacement at Celtic, Greg Taylor, has been brilliant for both club and country as of late. Greg’s game taken to another level by Ange Postecoglou.

  1. Tierney should look after himself and make sure he doesn’t sprain a wrist or dislocate his shoulder when he’s counting his money, because it’s not going to happen to him lifting trophies.

    • A ridiculous comment. Tierney gave his all at Celtic. His long running injuries are down to the fact that he always played for Celtic, even when he should have rested when injured.

And, the way Arsenal are playing just now, they won’t be far from picking up rewards.

    • That’s mental mate. The bhoy gave everything to Celtic and he’s gone down south and giving his all there too. Players get injuries especially KT as he puts himself out there AND he is at full pelt for 90mins every week down there compared to Paradise when a lot of the games are finished at 60mins
