Tommy Burns is a revered figure at Celtic, having had a profound impact both as a player and as a manager. His legacy extends beyond Celtic, reflecting the respect he commanded across Scottish football for his character and dedication to the sport.
The tribute from Kilmarnock follows the announcement by Celtic’s Green Brigade of a special display to honour Burns during the match.
Fans attending the match can expect an emotional day as both teams and supporters take a moment to remember a man who was not only a great footballer and coach but also a beloved figure in Scottish football.
Hopefully Celtic can honour Tommy Burns with a win which would seal the Hoops’ third league title in a row.
Tommy was superb as a mgr, a player and a person who cared about others.
His style of play could be helpful in the current Celtic team.
A great guy.
Probably running rings round God’s 11 just now.
Hail Hail Tommy 🍀
