Team News

Reo Hatate

We got news midweek that Reo Hatate faces a prolonged spell on the sidelines. It appears he will be unavailable for this one along with long-term absentees Marco Tilio, Alistair Johnston and Yuki Kobayashi.

Cameron Carter-Vickers was withdrawn at half-time versus Aberdeen at the weekend. His condition is unknown, but one imagines Rodgers wouldn’t want to risk one of his most pivotal players on a plastic surface when there are other ample options available.

We will know the full extent of the Hoops’ injury issues on Sunday afternoon when the champions’ team is announced ahead of what is a crucial cup tie early on in the season.
