The Scottish champions had a list of potential targets this January window but it would be late last week when Patryk appeared to be their man.
On Sunday night that was made clear when the striker touched down in Glasgow to begin the process of finalising the deal. After the medical was done and terms were agreed, the 21-year-old signed on the dotted line.
Patryk becomes Celtic’s first January signing and will become an option almost straight away for Neil Lennon.
At 21, the player is by no means the finished article but the club and more specifically Nicky Hammond would’ve done their homework to make sure the frontman has what it takes.
Celtic have to catch players very early in their development or else they’d be priced out later down the line.
Speaking to Celtic, Klimala was delighted to get the deal done and sign for the Hoops.
