The papers went ‘Full Scottish Fitbaw’ when they wheeled out Kris Boyd to critique Celtic and Brendan Rodgers after the PSG game.

Kris Boyd bemoaned that there was not a mark on Neymar come the end of the game and Celtic should have turned into hatchet men for the evening.

He also refused to criticise individual players because his column was only ‘two pages long’.

Imagine being a Celtic Player today and seeing Kris Boyd criticise you in the press. You would think you’re living in the twilight zone.

The player and stuttering pundit looks more like he can give us some good tips round a buffet cart than the Champions League nowadays.

Having put myself through the trauma of watching the game back again. While Celtic were never truly in the game after the equaliser. The second half, they were more disciplined and Rodgers was let down by individual errors and a corker of a shot from Alves to see the scoreline climb so high.

Everyone wants their pound of flesh from Rodgers when they can. Celtic have been untouchable domestically and it hurts.

Brendan Rodgers is lucky in a way to get this kind of advice from the ilk of big Boydy.

  1. Taking advice from a muppet like boyd would big like asking big bird for flying lessons. Kicking people might be the sevco and killie way to play,
it’s against the rules (CHEATING) Brendan doesn’t do cheating

  2. Kris Boyd , we must sit back and listen then ? What about taking the Sevco job and having a go at managing . Could be interesting
