Kris Commons has put and end to speculation surrounding his future by penning a new TWO year deal.
The midfielder has been a fantastic servant for Celtic since he joined the club under old boss Neil Lennon. Now playing more regularly under Deila and scoring that cracker of a goal against Rangers last Sunday he has committed his future to the club.
Contract talks between the player and the club were protracted but both parties have to do what’s in their best interests and at Kris’ age then you have to be extra careful as he wont have many deals left.
Another good day for Celtic fans in a week where we have reached a League cup final, signed some exciting new players and now topping it off with Kris sticking around.
Lets hope the momentum can continue into this weekends Scottish Cup tie.
