Kristoffer Ajer is being linked with a move away from Celtic while Shon Weissman has been tipped to to join the club this summer from various reports.
After a weekend of speculation, here is the current state of play.
Ajer
Although there were reports of a bid for Ajer from AC Milan, this has not been the case according to SunSport who have spoken to someone at the club. Reports of a £13.5m bid being rejected by the Scottish champions isn’t the case, although Ajer is still being heavily linked with the Italian club.
Weissman
We reported on comments from Shon Weissman’s current club Wolfsberger. Their chairman claimed Celtic had made a bid for the prolific striker. Like the Ajer bid, this has also been denied by the club in the same SunSport report.
Celtic need to get a move on to shape their squad but it’s not going to be easy with the transfer window being pushed back this year because of circumstances. Celtic are likely to be well into the SPFL season before the window closes
