CELTIC have been linked with Jeremy Toljan within the last 24 hours; a right-back with energy to burn but currently not in Dortmund’s first team plans after more than one managerial shake-up.
The more we research the player, the more he ticks off a lot of the boxes both the fans and manager want in a Celtic full-back.
The prevailing narrative is Jeremy has been unlucky since his move to Dortmund and he needs a chance to shine and show what he can do.
Just ask former Germany under 21 coach Stefan Kunts who raves about the defender earlier this season.
“Basically, Jeremy has what it takes to prevail in BVB.” Kunts revealed as cites on RecordSport. “Last season, he joined a new club late in the preparation, and he was initially injured. It’s hard to judge from the outside. But I assume that all those responsible will find a good solution.”
Is the good solution the player coming into Celtic and showing what he is capable of doing?
Celtic have until Thursday midnight to sign anymore players and the clock seems to be moving faster. With many seeing the right back position as Celtic’s major worry, some fans can’t believe how late Celtic are leaving it. However, if they manage to sign a player with huge potential they will be very happy.
