ANGE POSTECOGLOU announced that Giakoumakis was back in training and is available for Sunday’s trip to Dingwall.

The Celtic manager now has the option of Kyogo and Giakoumakis to lead the line. Postecoglou hasn’t had the luxury of this for most of the season, but with a near fully fit squad, he can make some bold decisions.

The manager revealed at his press conference on Friday that he was ‘pleased’ to have both Kyogo and Giakouamkis available for selection, saying; [Celtic TV]

“That is pleasing. We’ve had one or the other all the way along. So having them both available, I think we’ll need them both in these last five games because they provide different options for us upfront against different oppositions.

“They’re both quality players who score goals in this league. From that perspective, it’s good to have them both available and training.”

Already, Ange has to choose between Rogic and O’Riley, with David Turnbull yet to receive a start after he returned from injury.

With the striker’s position, it’ll be interesting to see what the manager decides to do. Giakoumakis and Kyogo will be in contention to lead the line, but the manager will have to choose between one or the other, with a change in formation not looking forthcoming.

Kyogo will be unlikely to be deployed to the wing, with Postecoglou labelling that a ‘mistake’ the last time he did that.

Giakoumakis seems undroppable, with the striker bagging the goals and impressing weekly.

The Aussie boss has a few tough decisions to make, but he’ll relish this moment after his squad struggles earlier in the season.
