Kyogo Furuhashi was named in the starting XI for Celtic on Wednesday night in Poland.

The Japanese star has to settle for a place on the bench, coming on as a second half substitute during the bhoys game against Real Madrid on Matchday one.

The Japanese striker led the line for Ange Postecoglou’s men on Matchday two and in doing so, the striker hit a career milestone.

Taking to social media, Kyogo celebrated his first ever Champions League start. The striker happy to have made his own personal goal.

Celtic’s finishing or lack of finishing to be more precise cost them three points on the night. Ange Postecoglou set out his side as he usually does and they dominated most of the game. After the early goal, and the subsequent Shakhtar counter attack leading to the equaliser, Celtic were in charge of proceedings.

Kyogo has celebrated this milestone, we hope his next tweet after a Champions League game is the striker celebrating his first Champions League goal.
