He’s been heavily criticised by the Celtic support, but you can’t deny he’s Celtic’s best striker. He pops up with a goal nearly every match, netting the ball four times in four games in December. The man from Japan also registered one assist as Celtic picked up twelve points.

He’s the top scorer in the league, averaging a goal every 78 minutes. With 15 goals after 39 shots, giving him a conversion rate of 38%.

Fans have debated whether Kyogo should be leading the line or if Giakouamkis should get a crack at it, but it’s clear that the manager favours Kyogo, and you can understand why. He links up the game well, constantly presses the opposition defence, and will drop back to help the midfield out of need be. It’s something that Giakoumakis can’t do as effectively.
