CELTIC fans have been on the edge of their seats since their star striker, Kyogo, was taken off early in the second half against Aberdeen last week.
The Japanese international had already made his mark on the game, netting two goals in the first half, showing he was fit and firing for the final.
Ange Postecoglou said on Thursday that Kyogo was training individually but was hoping he’d rejoin the group ahead of the cup final.
But, in a video posted by Celtic on Friday, Kyogo wasn’t with the team training. Now, there’s nothing to say that this rules him out for the match on Saturday, with Kyogo nipping at the bit to start his first Scottish Cup final.
On Thursday, Postecoglou said: [Celtic TV]
“He’s doing some individual stuff this afternoon, he’s progressed. He’s still pretty bullish about sort of playing, so we’ll just see how it goes.”
However, with his national call-up on the back of his mind when asking the manager to play at Hampden, knowing that if he aggravates his injury further, he could miss out on the matches with Japan.
