HOOPS FORWARD KYGOO FURUHASHI returned to his former club this week where took part in a training session with his old teammates.

The Celtic striker then took to the mic at Noevir stadium where he was treated to a massive applause.

It’s customary for players how have left the club to come back and say a proper goodbye to the support. We saw it earlier this summer with Maeda and Hatate both going back to their respective former clubs.

Unfortunately, Kyogo’s presence didn’t bring his former side luck. Losing 1-0 to Urawa, conceding a 90th minute goa.

Kyogo isn’t due back at Lennoxtown until next week.

While the bhoys will begin training again on Monday June 27, the players who have been away on international duty over the summer will be afforded a little more time off before the pre-season camp in Austria.

Kyogo came back into the Celtic squad very late on after a longterm injury. The Japanese star was instrumental in the first half of the season and on the final day of the season, the frontman grabbed a brace. Hopefully a sign of things to come next term.
