Celtic striker Kyogo Furuhashi sent a positive message to Hoops supporters on social media, insisting each day he is edging closer to return from injury.

After the 26-year olds blistering start to life at Parkhead, the club was handed a blow when the frontman picked up an injury whilst away on international duty.

Despite only being in the side for a short space of time, you can already see the influence he has on the team and how much he is being missed.

We reported earlier this afternoon, Kyogo took to social media to give an update to fans on his progress back from his knee injury.

As we approach the winter months, the fixture list continues to pile up. So Kyogo will be crucial in the games to come over the festive period.

From Postecoglou’s latest update, it looks as though we will have to wait until after the international break for Furuhashi to return to the side.

That will undoubtedly be a welcomed return for the former Socceroos boss going into next month.

Kyogo has a lot of hype to live up to when he returns. His blistering Celtic start has expectations high for when the player does return.
