Celtic Star Kyogo Furuhashi has sent a message to fans on Social Media as he returned to Lennoxtown for pre-season.
After representing his country on international duty, he was granted an extra week off as he spent time in Japan ahead of Celtic’s new season. After eighteen months without a break, the Japanese star would’ve loved the time away from football.
Taking to Twitter, Kyogo sent a message to his followers, stating he’s working hard to prepare himself for the new season.
Back to work. The new season starts!🙆🏻♂️🍀

Kyogo Set for Celtic Battle
Heading into the new season, Kyogo’s starting place isn’t guaranteed. Giakoumakis was extremely good in the second half of last season, and he’s definitely given Ange Postecoglou something to think about over the summer.
The Greek striker was banging in the goals. Still, once Kyogo recovered from his injury, Postecoglou reverted to starting Kyogo and using the former Eredivisie top scorer as an impact player from the bench.
Kyogo won’t be taking anything for granted; he’ll be looking to shine throughout pre-season to nail down his starting place against Aberdeen on the season’s opening day.
