Kyogo Furuhashi started his first game of 2022 on Sunday against Livingston. The last time the Japanese star was in the the starting XI was against St Johnstone on Boxing Day last year when he hobbled off injured.

In his absence, Celtic have done very well and found themselves top of the league at the sharp end of the season.
Kyogo was back on Sunday and he didn’t take long before picking up where he left off – scoring Celtic’s opener against Ross County.
The striker’s movement was incredible at times but there was some rust there. On another day, the player could have bagged a hat-trick.
Taking to social media this evening, the man from Japan thanked the support.
Celtic are six points ahead in the title race with just four games to go. Kyogo and Giakoumakis both being fit at the same time could give us the edge in the coming weeks.
We wonder who Ange will go with on Sunday when The Rangers come to town.
