Celtic are interested in signing former Premiership and Real Madrid star Lassana Diarra on a free contract.
Diarra has been without a club since leaving Lokomotiv Moscow earlier this year and had a possible move to Premier League outfit QPR collapse in the summer.
The 29 year old is reportedly flying into Glasgow this weekend to talk to the Scottish Champions about a move to Parkhead.
Any deal could be scuppered early as the defensive midfielders wage demands may become an issue.
Ronny Deila is looking for more experience and depth in his midfield options and perhaps see’s Lassana as a good fit for his new look team.
The defensive mid’ has played for Chelsea, Arsenal, Portsmouth, Real Madrid, Anzhi Makhachkala and Lokomotiv so he has vast amounts of experience.
