According to reports in France, Celtic have knocked back several late bids for the French midfielder, Oliver Ntcham.

The clubs in question appear to be Ligue 1 sides, Bordeaux and Brest, who have placed loan offer on the Celtic number 21. It is not clear whether there was an option to buy on these offers but you would imagine it is likely, in a deal for Ntcham. These offers were swiftly rejected by the Scottish Champions for being ‘too low’.

In the last few days, it has been made clear by Neil Lennon, that none of his star men would be departing the club and that certainly looks to be the case.

To lose a player like Ntcham in the last few hours would be disastrous and highly unlikely that a replacement would be ready to go quickly enough.

The board do deserve some praise this window. After going out the Champions League so early, we all thought it was inevitable that at least one of our key stars would be leaving. But they have stood strong and kept this squad together, to give Neil Lennon the best chance to deliver our 10th league title in a row.
