MOUSSA DEMBELE has been hotly tipped to leave Celtic in January by the media.

There has been much made of the suitors for him down south but while Chelsea, Manchester Utd and Liverpool are all aware of the player and keeping tabs on him, there has been no move for him from the perceived top teams.

Instead, Everton and Brighton have emerged as the two most viable options for the player if the Frenchman was to move on from Celtic this window.

However, the latest development at Everton has quashed any suggestion they will make a bid for Moussa in this window as they close in on signing Cenk Tosun for a whopping £27million from Besiktas.

While Brighton still has interest in the striker, they’re reluctant to meet Celtic’s full valuation and Moussa himself seems to not fancy the move to the Seasiders. Everton seemed like a better fit.

As Brendan Rodgers has said multiple times, Celtic are in no rush to sell their star and is hoping he hits the ground running in the second half of the season.
