It appears that a deal for Celtic target and Leeds United left-back is completely off the table.

The Scottish left-back had recently been linked with a move to Scotland but it seems as though Douglas is not keen on the move as he is happy at Leeds United according to LeedsLive

It is also thought that the recently promoted English Premier League side, are reluctant to lose Douglas, who is a key member of the dressing-room at Elland Road.

Celtic, have now made the left-back position a ‘priority’ with a month remaining in this extended summer transfer window, after the antics of Boli Bolingoli means it is extremely unlikely that he will play for the club ever again.

The Scottish Champions also looked to have moved on to other targets, reportedly making an offer for Mitchel Bakker at PSG and having ‘major interest’ in Alfie Doughty at Charlton Athletic.

Neil Lennon will be desperate to get his targets in as early as possible, so that they are ready and prepared for the up and coming important fixtures, as well as Europa League qualifiers to come towards the end of the month.
