On Friday evening, Celtic declared the signing of Bosun Lawal, who has moved north of the border from Watford.

The Irishman will begin development in Celtic B, under the management of Tommy McIntyre, as the team compete in the lowland league in the upcoming season, Lawal will then aim to break into the first team during the duration of his three-year deal.

Despite not making a senior appearance, the 18-year-old is extremely highly rated, joining the Watford set up in 2019, he won Watford Academy’s Player of the Year.

It is also exciting for fans to see young prospects arrive at Celtic, and if given the chance Celtic could be moulding the stars of the future.

Ange has stated several times he likes to give youth players a chance, if Celtic’s latest addition does impress there is no doubt he will be in the new boss’ thoughts heading into future seasons.
