Fraser Forster was seen entering the Lennoxtown grounds last week as the bhoys got back to training with no sign of his fellow Southampton loanee Moi Elyounoussi.

However, today it appears the loan Celt has joined his teammates at Lennoxtown as he looks to get back up to speed.

You could look at this two ways;

Celtic have a desire to keep Moi and Fraser at the club and are continuing to push for that outcome.

Or Fraser Forster returning to training has no bearing on his future club status and both players are training with the squad until they can rejoin their parent club after the season has been played to a finish down south.

We hope it’s the first option!

Moi was unfortunate with injuries during his time at the club but showed real quality when he was for. Another season at Celtic would certainly be a great bit of business. Southampton have both players tied down but are struggling financially. If neither are in their plans they’ll be looking to sell sooner rather than later. Can Celtic afford their asking price though?

  1. Our season has finished. Fraser and Moi are allowed to return to training with Southampton, but they aren’t be allowed to play.
    If they are training with Celtic , I’d say it’s either an agreement in place, or close, or they are staying here until lockdown is over.
    If they aren’t training, they could just be collecting stuff and firing up loose ends.
    Desperate for Fraser to stay. Would love to keep Moi, but can’t see where he fits in a 352.

  2. I think it’s the second option, both players are simply keeping their fitness up and the chances of staying with us are remotely slim we can’t afford them
