Neil Lennon has provided an update on the Soro situation after Celtic announced the player had passed his medical and was awaiting clearance to begin his Celtic career.
Many though the defensive midfielder would be in the door by now but the Celtic manager has put this down to a snag in paperwork which means he won’t be in Glasgow until at least next week.
Celtic need all the paperwork confirmed before next Friday’s deadline or they could run into not completing the deal.
?️ NL on Ismaila Soro: “We were hoping he would be here tomorrow but there’s been a hold up with the paperwork so he'll hopefully be here early next week.”

Ismaila has known for some time about his destination but the player must be getting frustrated with the hold ups.
Celtic have only one confirmed player in the door so far this window with Patrick Klimala signing earlier in the window. There’s still a need for players to come in for certain positions but it remains to be seen if Celtic will add to their squad between now and next week.
