ROCCO VATA has been linked with a move away from Celtic, with some top European teams keeping an eye on the Celtic B star.
Tuttomercato reports that AC Milan, AS Roma, Juventus, Arsenal and Manchester City are all keeping tabs on the players’ progress.
The 17-year-old is said to be one of the brightest stars in Celtic’s youth system and is tipped to have a big future in the game. He’s yet to make a competitive apperance for the Celtic first team but did score in pre-season for the side.
He played in front of the Celtic fans, too, coming on from off the bench against Blackburn.
It’s believed that Celtic values the player at about £2 million. Already signing a professional contract, the Hoops have more power than they did with the Ben Doak situation.
But, if they can show Rocco that there is a clear pathway to the first team, they have no hope of holding onto the player. The club should be doing all it can to show the player that there is a route into the first team despite having the B team in the Lowland League.
