PETER LAWWELL spoke about the club’s good fortune since Brendan Rodgers took over as Celtic manager.
The Celtic supremo spoke to STV tonight after his plans for a hotel complex outside Celtic Park were approved by Glasgow City Council – the Chief Executive was glowing with praise for his manager after the Irishman took all three points away in the Champions League.
“It’s been remarkable; the majority of the players that appeared for the first team each week and appeared last night were at Celtic with Ronny Deila before Brendan arrived. So he’s done an incredible job.
“He’s an outstanding manager and outstanding coach and I’m delighted for him.
“The amount of work he’s put in, the way the players have developed and the way they are performing – it’s been remarkable, really.”
Think Peters comments are well made. I had my doubts about Brendan I thought Celtic were easy in Scotland and proof of the pudding is Europe and after the Psg I was hating I might be right. After the result last night and the PSG destruction of Bayern I am a breliever. Hail Hail qualyfying for champions league is still a pipe dream but Europa is definite possibility.
Long may it last what a difference a good manager and some ?investment makes a bit more cash forBR so he can keep building the team and we will be OK
