During his time at Celtic, Teemu Pukki made 38 appearances for the club scoring nine goals.
However, the season he had at Celtic will be remembered for Kris Commons taking the goal scoring mantle with the strikers struggling to find the back of the net.
Brought in from FC Schalk, the bhoys had high hopes for this particular Neil Lennon signing but he never really got going. Since moving on the player has had a successful spell in Denmark and is now prolific for Norwich in the Championship. Teemu has 25 goals in 35 appearances for the Canaries and as he looks back on his Celtic career he admits he was lazy and inexperienced when the call to Celtic.
“I’m much more experienced than when I was at Sevilla, Schalke or Celtic.” Teemy told SkySports.
“Those years in Denmark changed my game and how I played football.
“I think we can say it [Celtic] wasn’t the success we were hoping for and it was a hard time for me personally.
“I started well and got a couple of goals, but then it didn’t go so well and it’s hard to say why.
“The one year I had there was a really good experience for me. I have good memories and it made me a better player.
“I got used to the physical play in Scotland and it taught me about some stuff for sure.
“I’m happy even though it didn’t go so well and I guess it wasn’t meant to be. Then I got the transfer I needed to Denmark.
“I’m more grown up for sure and probably more professional than I was.
“Also the coach at Brondby changed the way I think about football, my work ethic and things like that.
“I was probably a bit lazy. I was not doing the defensive work I should have done, and that’s one thing he taught me.”
Pukki was signed for Norwich on a free transfer in the summer and now he has Premier League clubs sniffing about him for major money.
