The inevitable move, which was bound to happen at some point, after the news last month that the Belgian defender, had broke government protocol and travelled to Spain without telling anyone within the club and also not self-isolating for 14 days on his return.
This forced the Scottish Government to postpone two of the Scottish Champions fixtures against St Mirren and Aberdeen as they felt it could have been too dangerous to play these games but it was also used as a punishment.
Over the last few weeks, Boli has been linked with several moves away from the club such as AS Roma in Italy and Amiens in France but now has his move to the Turkish League sealed.
When he first joined the club, there was very mixed opinions around him as a player. For all that many doubted his ability, there was a spell in the team in which the left-back was on top form alongside his team-mates.
Ever since his injury last November though, he failed to gain a place in the starting line-up and there was talk that Neil Lennon was looking to move him on. His actions last month, certainly made up the Northern Irishman’s mind.
In all honesty, Bolingoli has got himself a brilliant deal out of this. Going to a team, who is near the top of their respected league and also playing Champions League Football.
Usually at this stage of a transfer, many fans would wish a player all the best. But in the case of Boli, it may be the case that the majority of fans are glad to see the back of him.
