FORMER Barca bhoy Marc Crosas wished his former teammate all the best for retirement this weekend as Paddy McCourt hung up his boots on Friday.
Crosas used the message to let people know McCourt was one of the men who helped him to realise how much Celtic means to people.
All the best Paddy. Was an absolutely pleasure playing 3 years alongside you and showing me what it means to be a Celt. I’ve seen you scoring unbelievable goals from the pitch. Legend!

Marc has always had a soft spot for Celtic since leaving the club. The bhoy who came from Barcelona for just 450k was a Celt between 2008 to 2011.
McCourt struck up a friendship with the Spaniard during their time at the club and it was great to see Marc acknowledge Paddy’s retirement.
McCourt helped Finn Harps to promotion in his last two professional games.
The former Celtic winger will now take a place up on the coaching team at Derry City where he will be in charge of youth development.
Marc is currently without a club and has been doing a lot of media work overseas.
The 30-year-old has played for a lot of clubs since leaving Celtic.
I really don’t know why Celtic let Marc go.
