Yesterday we reported Shane Warne, of all people, was sporting a Celtic top while he was out on business in Las Vegas. The Legendary Aussie bowler took the snap as he got set to head to a poker tournament which has something to do with Celtic’s shirt sponsors, Dafabet.
We were a bit perplexed as to why Warne was wearing the new goalkeeper top but it appears the cricketer has a soft spot for Celtic.
One of his followers questioned why he was wearing the jersey and Warne confirmed he had ‘a lot of love’ for Celtic.
As Celtic celebrity fans go, this is a new one out of left field. I suppose it makes sense, Celtic have three Aussies on their books at the moment in Tom Rogic, Daniel Arzani and Leo Mazis. Warne showing solidarity with his countrymen.
