Leicester City are reportedly considering a move for Celtic and France u21s striker Odsonne Edouard.

According to Alex Crook reporting on TalkSport, the English Premier League side is looking at the possibility of a move for the highly-rated Hoops striker.

This wouldn’t be the first time a player has been linked with a move to the Foxes as former manager Brendan Rodgers is currently boss there.

Rodgers, of course, signed Edouard during his spell here for a record £9 million, so it’s clear he’s a fan of him as a player.

So far this season, the 22-year hasn’t set the world alight with his form. We have seen spells of the Edouard of old but he hasn’t been able to reach that full potential we saw last season.

With 18-months left on his deal, the club has a decision to make about when they will be looking to sell him. At this stage, it is probably more likely you get a higher fee at this point. But in letting him go, you would be upsetting a vast majority of the Celtic support.

  1. Speculation concerning Mr Edd is rife. If he decides (and if his agent and the Celtic suits do) The bidding begins on Monday. Do I hear a starting bid of ……… Thirty million euros. Anything lower, Mrs Lawwell would not even bother turning over and farting her husband out of bed for.
