Leigh Griffiths’ future is still up in the air with a decision on where he plays his football next said to be imminent.

The striker has a clause in his contract which means he can be sent back to Celtic if two out of the three parties agree but Celtic do not want him back at the club.

It means Leigh Griffiths and those in power at Dundee must agree his future will not be at the Tayside club. Dundee is clear in their stance that the two goals in fourteen appearances is not satisfactory and are hoping Leigh will leave the club soon. [The Sun]

The former Scottish international is still in training at Dundee and has remained with the club as talks over his future continued on Friday.

However, Griffiths is set to have a lengthy ban after an incident in September saw him kick a flare back into the stand.

The SFA has not taken any action yet as legal investigations are still ongoing but a long period ban looks just around the corner.
