Leigh Griffiths has not been seen for a few weeks now in a Celtic jersey.
The striker was apparently nursing a small knee injury which kept him out of the Prague game after the international break and would also see him miss the County defeat.
Neil Lennon claimed the striker would only be out for a very brief period. Here’s what he said on Nov 25.
? NL: “Griffiths is out with a knee problem but should be ok over the next few days. Jullien and Elhamed are in contention to start.”
More from the manager on YouTube soon ?

Since then, the manager hasn’t given any sort of update on the player and when asked about who was coming to Milan and who was out Leigh’s name didn’t come up.
There should be a press conference today of some sort and we’re hoping to get an update on the striker’s whereabouts and availability.
He’s our second best striking option at the minute and it would be great to get him back in this side as soon as possible.
The frontman has pulled Celtic out of some holes over the las five years and he can certainly be someone who can drag this team forward, especially in the league if given the chance.
