NEIL LENNON has confirmed that he’s still interested in bringing Scott Bain to Hibernian after his loan spell at Celtic is over.

The goalkeeper’s heroics helped Celtic to a famous 3-2 victory at Ibrox on Sunday with many supporters hopeful Scott will now get a run in the side.

However, as we reported on yesterday, Scott is not short of options and Neil Lennon has gone public that he’d still like to see Bain back at Hibs in the summer.

“There is an interest and we made sure Scotty realised that before he left,” said the former Celtic boss.

“Even in the short time he was here we were very impressed with the way he was around the place and his attitude in training and the attributes he has.”

Celtic will always have the first option to sign the player. Bain is in the last 6 months of his contract and can speak to any club at the moment.

The goalkeeper seems focused on trying break into the Celtic team before he makes any decisions.
