NEIL LENNON has confirmed Celtic are likely to get their first glimpse of their record defensive signing on Saturday at Celtic Park when the treble treble champions take on Rennes in a pre-season friendly.

This will be the bhoys first game back on home soil since they won the Scottish Cup at Hampden in May and will be looking to continue their goal towards match fitness and sharpness in between Champions League qualifiers.

Christopher hasn’t featured as of yet because Neil Lennon wanted to build the defender up in training before putting him out onto the pitch.

“The friendly is important for the likes of Leigh and the boys who didn’t play a game, and Christopher Jullien will hopefully get some game time too.” Lennon told CelticTV.

There could be Parkhead bows for Luca Connell and Daniel Arzani as well if Neil Lennon feels like it’s a worthwhile exercise to bring the pair into the fold. Developmental lads like Dembele and Oko-Flex could get a run out too.

Will Leigh Griffiths get the nod in the starting XI?

The Rennes game is included in season tickets.
