Celtic now begin their week long preparation for the Scottish Cup Final where the bhoys have the chance to land an unprecedented treble treble.

Neil Lennon will be making sure his men are ready to go come Saturday afternoon but there may be one noticeable absentee from the squad.

Neil Lennon confirmed to journalist Alison Conroy that Oli Burke is a doubt for the Scottish Cup Final with the player hurting his knee against Hearts on Sunday.

Burke was subbed at half time to make way for Karamoko Dembele to make his Celtic debut at the age of just 16 and with only five days to go until the final it looks like the Scottish frontman is a major doubt.

This will not be big news for many fans who have been very disappointed with Oli Burke’s recent contributions to the team. After a fantastic start to his Celtic career, the pacey attacker has failed to make the grade and if he was to miss the Cup Final it wouldn’t be as profound as it once was.

If the knee injury keeps Burke out then he’s played his last game for Celtic.

  1. Imo Burke has been the best player of 2019 under the snake, but once Lennon came in, Burke wasn’t the same.
I’d have kept Burke if we still had the rat, because he’d make him a great player, but Lennon isn’t going to improve players that much.

  2. To me oil came out the same nest as , the rangers player Lafferty, both can run but both look like a donkey with a carrot on a string, there first touch sends them chasing the carrot , there next touch has the ball out of play
