It was almost the perfect afternoon at Paradise as a formidable Celtic battered the only team to beat them domestically this season with an impressive 4-0 win. Livingston can actually count themselves lucky they are only leaving Glasgow with four conceded.

The international break seems to have re-energised Celtic players and they looked unstoppable and relentless today. Goals from Edouard, Brown & Forrest (2) gave the Hoops all three points to keep them top of the SPFL table. The only downside to today’s proceedings was watching Jonny Hayes head for the tunnel just minutes into the second half.

The Dubliner looked in a lot of discomfort in the first half and winced while holding his shoulder. Neil Lennon confirmed in his post-match interview that the defender has popped his shoulder.

Now Lennon has 2 of his 3 left-backs injured. Greg Taylor came on for Hayes and he hasn’t put a foot wrong when been called upon so there is no immediate fear but it is always better to have two players for every position. Celtic are about to play a cluster of ten games and will need every available option to keep the squad fresh.
