We’re on Thursday now, having just dropped more points this season and Neil Lennon’s Monday press conference rant is still being discussed and having an effect on the game.

Neil Lennon had a go at the covid protocols which meant 13 players and 3 staff had to self-isolate after their ill fated Dubai trip.

The manager cited dressing rooms like St Johnstone and Hamilton where the players are hemmed in like sardines with no chance of social distancing and that’s fine but being forced to isolate being 2m and more apart was silly.

It prompted St Johnstone and Hamilton to both come out and defend their facilities.

Now, Recordsport revealed the SFA and SPFL will now review the protocols and safety measures in place at clubs up and down the country.

To be honest, it shouldn’t take something like this to prompt these safety reviews which should be continuous and fluid. We understand in some of these stadiums, a whole squad find it difficult to keep their distance.
