Hibs are due to take on St Mirren on Sunday in the SPFL and Neil Lennon has been suspended for the game by his board according to BBC Sport
Lennon might not be having his best season in regards to league results. It’s not really plausible that he would be suspended over a losing streak. The Irishman is never one to not make his feelings known.
Lennon took over at Easter Road in 2016 when he helped the club gain promotion from the Championship. Hibs finished fourth in the league last season and came close to finishing higher. Lennon has enjoyed some wins against Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers when so many others have failed.
The Edinburgh side has lost their last five games in a row, if the suspension is for results it wouldn’t make much sense to suspend a manager, a sacking is usually the outcome. Reasons for the suspension are all just speculation now but we are sure a statement will follow today.
There are not many as good as NL around so the Hibs money men better have a good think about what they going do…
