You might be thinking Celtic have a game tomorrow at Den’s Park and Neil Lennon does not need to be thinking about a derby game a fortnight away. But, Neil Lennon will probably use tomorrow’s game against Dundee to answer a few niggling questions.

First up is Lustig or Toljan. This is a hard choice for all the wrong reasons. Neither player is playing out of their skin in recent months. Toljan came with a big price tag, it’s hard to see the Celtic board shelling out for the player based on his performances so far. He has shown some flashes of promise but not over 90 minutes. His flashes of promise have mostly been his attacking attributes rather than his defensive duties. Lustig has been hit and miss all season but he is one of the most experienced players in Glasgow Derbies. Who starts at Den’s Park?

Next up is the lone striker. Chris Sutton commented earlier that Celtic will run away with the league again this season despite going most of the campaign without a recognised or permanent striker to lead the line.

At the moment it looks like Lennon could be flipping a coin between Burke and Edouard. Most Celtic fans don’t understand why Weah is not in that mix but he seems to do his damage coming off the bench. Tomorrow at Den’s Park might give some indication to Lennon’s thinking for his first choice striker.

The final choice is based more on fitness than attributes. It would be unfair to hold up a Euan Henderson or Nir Bitton to a Tom Rogic or Callum McGregor based on playing ability. If Rogic or McGregor is available for selection every Celtic fan will want them starting but managers are paid to think of the bigger picture. By the sounds of it, McGregor is in contention for a start tomorrow, if he features it’s impossible to think he will not start on the 31st. Rogic might pose more of a risk, he has been missing since December but then you look at all the goals he has scored and the temptation creeps in.

Between now and the 31st there are 90 minutes of football to be played as well as an international break but the team news tomorrow could be the start of a blueprint for revenge.
