ANGE POSTECOGLOU has revealed there is no ‘hangover’ from Sunday’s defeat at Hampden.

Celtic were beaten by The Rangers 2-1, with the game going to extra time. The Bhoys took the lead through Greg Taylor before having a chance to double their advantage, but Carter-Vickers’ effort rattled against the crossbar. Arfield drew the Ibrox side level before a Starfelt own goal gifted The Rangers the win and a pass to the final.

The Celtic manager has not seen a hangover from the result in training this week, he told Celtic TV. He also applauds the players’ mentality as they look to bounce back against Ross County at the weekend.

“I’ve felt all along this year that, every setback we’ve had, and we’ve had a few, that the players have embraced every challenge and I didn’t sense within the group that there was any sense of a hangover from the result when we got back into training.”

Celtic need to stay focused. They are close to winning the title, but they must not fall complacent. Losing the title now would be embarrassing.

The hoops have a derby to look forward to, a win at Paradise could all but seal the title if the Hoops take maximum points in the highlands.
