MIKAEL LUSTIG said he’ll be giving words of wisdom to the Celtic players if he’s handed the armband for today’s semi-final.

Kieran Tierney has captained Celtic in Scott Brown’s absence for the most part but Mikael recently captained the bhoys to victory in the SPFL and if he’s given the armband on the day the Swede might use the odd ‘swear’ word.

“I always try to have my own message because everyone is different.

“I use Scottish words of course. Swear words? Well that’s Scottish, right?

“I don’t try to be someone else, just me, whether I have the armband or not.

“But it’s always an honour to captain this team and I’ll think about what to say in the huddle.

“But it’s not like I’m standing there for a minute or so.

“You just need small words, usually you don’t need to say that much because everyone knows it’s a really important game and we need to be up for it.”

Scott Brown is famous for his huddle speeches and when the camera angle has caught the player in the huddle before we have had a peak of the intensity Brown brings to the team.

The day Celtic won the double treble Scott Brown could be seen saying ‘Whatever happens, we win this f***ing game’.

Murrayfield is the pick of the two semi-final ties with both Celtic and Hearts taking sizeable supports to the ground.

Celtic selling out their allocation.
